An eventful year of NCRM was commemorated with
a series of events starting with the Fujio
Cup Quiz on Stem Cells and Regenerative medicine

The Consul general upon
giving away the prizes to the runners and winners of the Fujio Cup Quiz
2007, in his address lauded the achievements of the NCRM within a short
span of one year as he listed out all the projects undertaken and the names of the collaborating institutes. He quoted this as one of the best examples of strategic partnership between Indian and Japanese institutes in the health sector as the joint declaration by prime minister of both the countries had mentioned the health sector as one of the major areas of importance of collaboration between India and Japan.
In the beginning the annual
report was presented by Dr Abraham. The winners of the events were
presented by Ms. Grace Paul.
The event concluded with
the national anthems of both Japan and India. |

Second Anniversary function
was graced by the presence of His Excellency Mr.Kazuo Minagawa, the
Consul General of Japan, Chennai as the Chief guest (3rd from Right) and Dr. K.M. Cherian (Chairman, Frontier Life Line, Chennai)(3rd from left) were the guests
of honour. Mr. Yoshio Morosumi (Chairman, Nichi-In, Japan) (1st from Right) and Dr. Samuel Abhraham, (Director, Nichi-In Centre for Regenerative Medicine) (1st from left) also seen .
