Hope for diabetes patients


Mauritians suffering from complications related to diabetes, cancer and many other diseases could hope for cure in the near future thanks to soaring progress in stem cell treatment.

This was disclosed by Dr. Samuel Abraham, an eminent and internationally recognized researcher who was in Mauritius this week for the ‘BioHealth,’ conference, organized by the Board of Investment. He was the guest of honor at the Continuous Medical Education program of Apollo Bramwell Hospital on Stem cell Treatment.

He explained to local doctors that research in stem cell treatment has made fantastic advancements worldwide and Mauritian patients will also benefit from these treatments in a near future.
