International meet on stem cells in Chennai

CHENNAI: The fifth annual international meeting on stem cells and regenerative medicine, ‘NCRM NICHE 2010,' will be held here on October 9 in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the Nichi-In Centre for Regenerative Medicine (NCRM).

Among the highlights of the event are a special address by Japanese stem cell scientist Satoshi Kuroda, Hokkaido University, plenary lecture by Yoshikazu Kurosawa from Fujita University and the fifth edition of the Fujio Cup Quiz on Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine. Registration for the programme available at www.ncrmniche.org concludes on October 2.
