Exctracts of the First Annual Symposium on Regenerative Medicine

JSRM First Comprehensive Workshop on Research & Scientific Publishing

The symposium started with a brief introduction by Dr Abraham who said that Stem cells and Regenerative Medicine is NOT something you hear from the East or West; but its close to your doorsteps at Chennai; as NCRM centered work on stem cells will be presented by experts from within the country and abroad are presented in the symposium. The moderators of the symposium Dr. Geeta Jotwani (Officer-in-charge, Stem Cell Project, ICMR), Prof. SSK. Marthandam (Vice Chancellor, SRMC&RI) and Dr.P.Rajendran (Dr ALM PG IBMS) were introduced.

The proceedings of the symposium are published in the Journal of Stem Cells & Regenerative Medicine, Vol.1 Issue.1; Oct 2006.
